Antique Complete Qashqai Khorjin Saddle Bags with Plain Weave Back Circa 1900/20

Antique tribal Qashqai Khorjin with plain weave back. Size: 3ft 10in x 1ft 10in (117 x 55cm). The saddle bag faces are very well drawn with a central hooked Qashqai medallion. The design is classic Qashqai, with a traditional border. The decorative closing lappets are still in place at the top of each side.

The bags have a plain weave back which has decoration in green around the edges. The Khorjin is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The wool is very soft and the bag face has a floppy handle. The khorjin has been hand washed and is ready for display.
