You lock the bag with passing the braideed loop through the slit and I think then chain stitch style passing the next loop through slit and the other loop. Back piece is done in flat woven kilim and brocade and some embroidery and front piled rug, kilim and brocade ends of the pile.
Goat hair salvages and loops for lock mechanism on top of the bags. These pieces can be cut so they result in two large bag faces.
Measuring about 31 inches by 130 inches, if opened and turned into one continious piece, but cutting is not suggested as it is a shame to cut a great piece like this, rather If Pillows are intended, I would just stuff them and keep them as a double pillow which can be used stand alone either on floor or a raised area fitting, or on furniture that employs cushions or this size.. One can also make two 31x28 1/2 inch rugs and a 31 x 65 inch kilim rug by opening sides and cutting accordingly although a double pillow / floor cushion is the desired option, which will function elaborately and last forever. Weighing about 10 lbs net weight.
Some loss to end fringes as shown. Goat hair salvages are done very well and tight on all the width on both sides and then whip stitched with I think wool thread and brought together. There is about 1 linear inches separation on end of one bag as shown which again could be whip stitched to an invisible in minutes.
Very fine and well made. Kilim slits and goat hair loops intended for closure of end of bags are all in excellent condition. No issues noted other than what is mentioned above and perhaps a bit of stretching. The back piece is flat woven kilim.
Stuffed, they would make exceptional double cushions Perfect for seating on ground and other situations. Soak washed to perfection so it is brilliant and lustrous and clean enough to touch face with.
