Front and back are continuous and tucked in and brought together at sides through salvaging (so if one opens the salvages, you will have one continuous length), Back piece is done in flat woven kilim and brocade and some embroidery and front is piled rug, kilim and brocade ends of the pile where the kilim slits of the lock mechanism. These pieces can be cut so they result in two large bag faces / rugs each measuring about two 31 inches by 30 inches. 130 inches overall continuous length not including tassels and or fringes if salvages are opened. Cutting is not a good idea as it is a shame to cut a great piece like this, rather If Pillows are intended, I would just stuff them and keep them as a double pillow.. One can also make two 31x31 inch rugs and a 31 x 69 inch kilim rug by opening sides and cutting accordingly although a double pillow / floor cushion is the desired option, which will function elaborately and last forever.
Weighing about 10 lbs net weight. Kilim Slits and goat hair woven loops for securing the two inner ends. Goat hair salvages are done very well and tight on all the width on both sides and then whip stitched with I think wool thread and brought together.
Soak washed to perfection so it is brilliant and lustrous and clean enough to touch face with. Great Functional Decoration suitable for just about any setting.
