I have washed them as they had a lot of surface soil from use. An unusual variation on a classic design. The bags' faces have lovely bold colors, well preserved, in an unusual design. The closure loops are mostly intact. As typical for Shahsavan bags, they feature intricately soumac woven front faces with asymetrical striped backs. The sides are bound with matching wool bindings.
