It's best to double check your bike for fitment of these bags just in case. The compatibility chart is a reference. If you do not have brackets you are going to need 14 of clearance between the shock absorber and the turn signal.

You will also need 11 of clearance between the turn signal and the exhaust pipe. The bags are also 6-1/2 deep so take that into account in case you have a rider on back. The yoke will fit under the back seat as these are "throw over" style bags. The yoke is slightly adjustable.
