Antique tribal Luri Khorjin with plain weave back. Size: 3ft 11in x 1ft 9in (120 x 53cm). The saddle bag faces are very well drawn with a central hooked medallion. The design is typical of the Fars region Luri tribe , with a traditional border containing small rosettes. The decorative closing lappets are still in place at the top of each side. The bags have a plain weave back which has multi coloured stripped decoration. The Khorjin is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
