Fringe can be added to the lower edge of the lids with hook and eye fringe, which I usually have on hand. The bags include the quick release latch kit and instructions.    I used these desert tan genuine leather Indian saddlebags on my 14 Vintage until I went to large spools for a trunk, needed to change bags. I had bought them used. Like most older used bags the lids are deformed so the end snaps will not work (I never used the end snaps anyway, the buckles hold the lids down just fine).
