Here is a set of matched hard saddlebags from a 2016 Indian Chieftain that was a trike conversion. I have gathered all the parts to allow installation of these factory OEM hard bags on to the soft leather bag or no-bag bikes including 2014 and newer Chief, Classic, Vintage, and Dark Horse. Included are the Chieftain/Roadmaster/Springfield chrome fender rail struts, large spools w/new plastic bushings, quick release latches, instructions and all hardware. Also includes a manual key lock for the left side, key won't work on right hand bag for some reason. All parts are in excellent used condition. No crash damage, no rust, every thing works fine. All parts are genuine Indian OEM. The bags have 4 small holes drilled into the bottom where saddlebag guards used to be installed, will not be a problem and you could easily plug w plastic caps from an automotive parts store. These bags are designed to sit on top of tabs built in to the Chieftain/Roadmaster/Springfield mufflers. If you have the standard Chief type mufflers without tabs you would need to make spacers to allow the bags to sit on your mufflers and I would then recommend the newer OEM screw type mounts or Osprey screw spools in lieu of the quick release mounts. Even better would be to swap out your no tab mufflers for a set of Stage 1 or stock hard bag mufflers with tabs which will easily fit right on your bike. (I may be able to help you with mufflers, could make you a great deal on a set of Indian hard bag Stage 1 mufflers in great shape, can also find a nice set of stock mufflers). If the color doesn't match your bike a good body shop should be able to paint them to perfectly match your paint. Note: I also have a set of gloss black thunder black bags and burgundy red bags just like these. If you'd rather have solid black or solid burgundy I can swap. Send me a message and we can work something out. So, to sum up, this set up includes everything to make your Chief into a Springfield clone. I guarantee this to fit and I will provide support for installation. Of course these bags will also fit the Chieftain/Roadmaster/Springfield models. OEM parts install easier, look better, last longer and hold their value better than aftermarkets.
