I used these desert tan genuine leather Indian saddlebags on my 14 Vintage until I went to large spools for a trunk, needed to change bags. I had bought them used. Bags are complete, not missing any parts, all buckle strap latches and lid snaps work fine. The left bag has what appears to be dog or cat scratches that have been touched up w dye. The right bag appears to have fallen off at one point.
It has some scuff marks that have been touched up w dye. There is an area on the bottom edge where the vinyl was cut and glued back.
Under this cover is the heavy plastic bag housing so no harm here. The defects are all cosmetic only, will not affect the function or durability of the bags. The defects are not real noticeable when installed on bike. And my flash makes the color difference appear more than in reality, but Indian tan leather (and all tan leather for that matter) do no always match from seat to seat to saddlebag to fork bag. So, the bags have some minor cosmetic damage that is not very visible on the bike.
