No cuts in leather, seams are good. One of the nylon buckle straps is lightly frayed, not visible when installed and I don't see this ever being a problem. These bags aren't cheap but they are much better looking, easier to install/remove, and more solidly mounted than any other Scout bags I've seen. Can't go wrong with OEM.
